What is a keto diet?

A ketogenic diet is a low-carb diet that puts your body in ketosis - a metabolic state where fat is burned for energy.

It helps reduce weight, lower blood glucose levels and improve overall health.

On a ketogenic diet, you should aim to eat a maximum of 20-50 grams of net carbohydrates a day. The less carbs you eat, the deeper your state of ketosis is.
